Fort Myers movers Two Chicks Moving adds short-term and long-term storage to its local moving, long distance moving, and packing services in Southwest Florida.

FORT MYERS, FL, UNITED STATES, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Two Chicks Moving, one of the top-rated Fort Myers movers and a trusted name for local movers near me searches across Southwest Florida, has announced that it now offers storage in Fort Myers for residential and commercial customers. The new storage service gives Fort Myers families and businesses a simple, secure place to keep their belongings before, during, and after a move, handled by the same professional movers and packers customers already trust for local moves and long distance moves.

Anyone who has moved knows that closing dates, lease endings, and new-home move-in dates rarely line up. Two Chicks Moving says the new storage option was created to solve that gap for Fort Myers customers. Instead of hiring one company for moving, another for storage units, and a third for delivery, customers can now book moving, packing, storage, and delivery with a single moving company near me, from a single team, on a single schedule.

"Timing is the number one stress point we hear about from Fort Myers customers," said Joe with Two Chicks Moving. "A home closing gets delayed, a new build isn't ready, or a family is downsizing and needs somewhere safe for the extra furniture. Offering storage means our customers don't have to scramble. We pick up, we store, and we deliver when they're ready."

Storage Services Now Available in Fort Myers

Two Chicks Moving's storage service is designed for the way Fort Myers customers actually move. Options include:

Short-term storage for gaps between a closing date and a move-in date
Long-term storage for downsizing, renovations, deployments, and seasonal relocations
Residential storage for furniture, boxes, appliances, and household goods
Commercial storage for office furniture, equipment, and inventory during business moves
Moving and storage packages that combine packing, loading, transport, storage, and final delivery

Because the same crews handle the moving and storage in Fort Myers, items are wrapped, padded, and loaded by professional movers, reducing the extra handling, extra trips, and extra cost that often come with using separate vendors. Customers moving locally in Fort Myers, or relocating through long distance movers services to or from Southwest Florida, can add storage to a quote without changing movers.

Why Storage Matters for Fort Myers Movers and Their Customers

Southwest Florida is one of the most active relocation markets in the country. Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Estero, and Bonita Springs see steady demand from new residents, seasonal residents, retirees downsizing, and families upgrading to larger homes. Hurricane season adds another layer, as some homeowners need to temporarily relocate belongings during repairs and rebuilding. For many of these customers, a reliable storage option is not a luxury, it is the missing piece of a smooth move.

Two Chicks Moving says it heard the same request again and again from customers who searched for movers near me and moving company near me, then discovered they also needed storage units Fort Myers residents could trust. Rather than send those customers elsewhere, the company decided to bring storage in-house as part of its moving services.

"Our customers already trust us with their homes and their belongings," the spokesperson added. "When you are one of the local movers people call in Fort Myers, it makes sense to be the company that can also keep their things safe until they are ready. Storage is a natural extension of the care we already put into every move."

Customers comparing storage units Fort Myers has to offer often point to the same concerns: security, handling, and convenience. By pairing storage with professional local movers, Two Chicks Moving says customers get one point of contact for every step, from the first packing box to the final delivery, along with clear pricing and a plan built around their timeline.

A Growing Fort Myers Moving Company With Hundreds of Five-Star Reviews

The storage announcement follows a period of steady growth for Two Chicks Moving.
