 Walton BCC Recognizes the Center for Independent Living of Northwest Florida

Walton County, FL, 08/12/26 – Carolyn Grawi, director of the Center for Independent Living of Northwest Florida, requested the Walton County Board of County Commissioners approve a resolution recognizing the Center for Independent Living of Northwest Florida (CILNF) and commending its efforts to raise awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities.

The Center assists people with disabilities and caregivers to establish lives of independence. Independent Living is having the right and the opportunity for individuals to pursue their lives based on the freedom of choice. CILNF believes that persons with disabilities and caregivers are qualified to assist others in identifying and acquiring the services necessary to overcome barriers.

County Administrator Brian Kellenberger read the resolution into the record and after the motion passed, the BCC posed for a photo with Ms. Grawi.
